The creation of the Laugh-and-a-Half-Marathon started as a way to promote wellness and support pediatric needs in northeast Nebraska, as well as remember comedy legend and Norfolk, Nebraska native, Johnny Carson. Every year over 600 runners--men and women, young and old, husbands and wives, families, friends, first-timers and seasoned runners--choose to join us for a race that not only tickles your funny-bone but supports health and other important services for area kids.
